Gil and Talissa
A native of Santa Barbara, Gil embarked on his artistic journey through extensive travels, capturing the beauty of the places he encountered with his photography.
In Milan, Italy, during the 90s, he met his talented wife, Talissa. Combining their passions for art and photography, they founded a black & white darkroom and print shop for the local fashion market. Over time, their business evolved into a "light room," offering fine art giclée printing on various mediums.
In January 2021, after 25 successful years in Italy, Gil, Talissa, and their four children returned to Santa Barbara. They acquired Santa Barbara Art & Frame Co, bringing their fine art design and conservation framing expertise to the local community. As managing partners, they have also assumed the operations of the Elizabeth Gordon Gallery, joining forces with Heidi Ferguson.
